Cemex acquires Bosnia BINIS concrete plant

Cemex has reportedly acquired the Bosnian concrete plant BINIS in Banja Luka. According to the acquisition agreement, Cemex will begin management of BINIS from the beginning of October 2014. Meanwhile, BINIS will continue with production and launch of its own concrete products. No acquisition value has been disclosed.

Cemex acquires Casema

Cemex has announced that it has acquired the family-owned Casema aggregate production facility in Vatteville la Rue in Normandy, France. Granit of Bosnia restarts production

Bosnian stone manufacturer Granit has reported that it is restarting production after two years of no activities. As a result, 100 jobs will be created.
Granit's director, Salih Klepo, said that the restart of production resulted after talks and agreements with the Union Organtisation, and the new liquidation manager, Velija Sabljic.
