Russia: Eurocement shuts down Savinsky Cement Plant

The Eurocement Group is reported to have closed down Savinsky Cement Plant in the Arkhangelsk region (North-West) for modernisation until 2018. Employees of the factory are afraid the production will be eliminated with voluntary resignation offered by the management of the plant said to be the reason for the rumour. The Savinsky cement plant produced 207,000tonnes of cement in January-August 2014, down 57% compared with the same period of 2013.

The 3704 Eurocement Group is reported to have closed down Savinsky Cement Plant in the Arkhangelsk region (North-West) for modernisation until 2018.

Employees of the factory are afraid the production will be eliminated with voluntary resignation offered by the management of the plant said to be the reason for the rumour.

The Savinsky cement plant produced 207,000tonnes of cement in January-August 2014, down 57% compared with the same period of 2013.
