An “exceptional number” of potential customers from leading material companies throughout Australia attended the event, staged in collaboration with TWS’ Australian distributor, mineral Washing Soltuions (MWS), at Dubbo Sands, New South Wales, witnessing for the first time in Australia a working Terex Aggresand 165 washplant.
Mardi and Graham Colbran, owners of Dubbo Sands, said: “The Open Day was a huge success, with so many positive comments; we know we made the right decision. The knowledge and expertise has been proven on the ground, with the team sent from Ireland, working alongside Niall [Donaghy, MWS sales manager], we have exactly what our quarry required and more.”
The plant is currently processing in excess of 200tonnes/hour of natural sand and gravel feed material to produce a range of aggregates and concrete sands. TWS said that attendees were impressed with the plant with one customer saying: “I was impressed by the modular system, with the quick setup and ease of maintenance.”
When asked about the best features of the Aggresand 165 washplant, TWS said another customer commented: “The ability to blend feed two products before washing is impressive as well as the accessibility to the entire plant.” A third customer is said to have added: “The small footprint, innovative design and ease of maintenance are some of the best benefits to me as a customer.”
Sean Loughran, Director of TWS, said: “With it being the first Aggresand 165 wash plant operating in this market, reaction and interest to the plant was phenomenal which is testament to our commitment to providing enhanced and unique solutions to meet customers’ needs and demands.”
