Romania: Lafarge invests in waste co-processing

Lafarge has invested €9.30 million (US$9.83 million) to build a waste co-processing station using €3.5 million of European Regional Development funds. The company will use waste processed at the new plant as fuel in its production process at its Medgidia plant, according to Costin Borc, the CEO of Lafarge Romania.
