The auction is set to feature a considerable number of machines from across the Nordic region. This has been made possible due to exclusive packages from PON, the official
As a result of IronPlanet’s innovative online auction platform, both PON and Ramirent will have access to a worldwide audience of global buyers during the sale of their used equipment. This auction is set to include excavators, compactors, combine harvesters, tractors, dumpers, forklifts, skid-steer loaders and much more.
On auction day, equipment will be sold to the highest bidder. However, prior to the auction, registered bidders are able to place bids through the IronPlanet PriorityBid service. This service automates the bidding on a buyer’s behalf, should they be unable to attend the auction themselves.
The IronPlanet online auction format benefits sellers, who gain vital access to international markets, and are able to make significant cost and time savings on transportation. Furthermore, buyers are also able to realise exclusive benefits – including access to a wide range of equipment at fair market prices that come with guaranteed inspection reports and the IronPlanet IronClad Assurance.
Of the upcoming auction, Carlos Banegas Busch, sales director for North Europe at IronPlanet, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with such reputable and highly-regarded Nordic companies as PON and Ramirent. Both these successful relationships are testament to the trust placed in the IronPlanet business model internationally, as well as our strong presence in the Nordic market. In comparison to many other regions in Europe, the Nordic countries have proved to be resilient and thriving markets for construction and construction equipment – which has been reflected in IronPlanet’s committed focus upon the region.”
Finally, this auction will once again be featuring machines from VINCI, the French concessions and construction giant, as part of their long-standing relationship with IronPlanet.
