Building materials producer Cemex has opened a new 6,200m² production site in Carros in the French department of Alpes-Maritime.
With six hoppers, it has a unitary capacity of 80tonnes, with a storage capacity of 480tonnes of granulates as well as an additive storage facility in line with environmental regulations.
All water used is recycled for the production of concrete or to wash material, and returned concrete is recycled after hardening and crushing.
