South America's first Nordberg GP220 cone crusher is in operation and is said to be “yielding good results” at Arenas y Gravas La Fontana in Colombia.

The company says the new cone is increasing the company's monthly production by 114% while adhering to strict environmental regulations. In addition to the crusher,

The new crusher is said to combine high performance with operational flexibility, and its high-quality components maximise availability. Its energy consumption is 200KW.
The crusher weighs 10,500kg and has a maximum feed size of +200mm.
