The cement export volume of Pakistan in July 2015 fell year-on-year by 7.45% from 503,000tonnes to 465,000tonnes, while the domestic dispatch volume grew from 1.73 million tonnes to 1.8 million tonnes, and sales went up 4.19%.
The export volume fell mainly due to the influx of cement from Iran in Afghanistan and non-tariff barriers by India, said an All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA) spokesperson.
