Thailand’s BMC cement factory set to open

In Thailand, BMC Cement Industry Factory (Lion Brand) will operate its factory in February 2016. The Lao-owned company has been developing the new factory since 2011 and construction is estimated to be completed next month. Cement produced by the factory will be supplied to provinces in Laos and Thailand.

In Thailand, BMC Cement Industry Factory (Lion Brand) will operate its factory in February 2016.

The Lao-owned company has been developing the new factory since 2011 and construction is estimated to be completed next month.

Laos: third factory built by Oudomxay Cement

Laos-based Oudomxay Cement is constructing a factory in Oudomxay Province and expects to commission the facility by end-2016. Output from the new factory, which is the third for the company, will be delivered to projects in the provinces of Phongsaly, Luang Namtha and Bokeo and several other areas in the northern region.
