The cement market of Pakistan grew 30.4% year-on-year to PKR 16.14 billion (€140.92 million/US$154.04 million) during October-December 2015, while revenues rose 12% and margins stood at 41%.
As for July-December 2015, the industry grew 32.2% from PKR 20.91 billion to PKR 27.65 billion, while revenues increased 7.5% as local dispatches rose 16.3% despite the export volume declining 25.9%.
Also, margins of the industry in the six-month period stood at 41%, while cost of goods sold fell from PKR 3,682/
