The distribution centre will provide shorter shipping times as well as increased product availability to Work Tools customers and Cat® dealers in EAME and CIS.
The 9,000m² facility, which houses both hydraulic (grapples, hammers, pulverisers, shears), and fabricated work tools (buckets, brackets), consolidates distribution from several other locations.
“Our priority is to offer a first-class service to our dealers and customers by delivering products promptly and accurately. The new distribution centre will enable us to best respond to the anticipated increase in demand over the next years." said Bob Paternoga, general manager operations, Caterpillar Work Tools.
