It is now said to offer five different families of products as part of its range of cement bags: Dwam, L' billioni, Swari, Prefa and Martoub. Lafarge is focusing its marketing strategy on its flagship Dwam 55 product, a grey cement for works foundations, especially in coastal areas.
The group aims to sell 100,000tonnes of Dwam 55 by late 2016.
Cement sales have grown by 7.9% in February 2016 year-on-year, after a 10% rise in the fourth quarter of 2015, as the construction and public works sector is recovering.
