8080 Terex Trucks has partnered with Volvo Construction Equipment Hub Korea to supply and support its rigid dump trucks in the Republic of Korea.

Frederic Ruesche, vice president at 3573 Volvo CE Hub Korea, said: “I am happy to introduce Terex Trucks’ world class range of rigids to our customers. Volvo CE Korea can now offer an expanded range of product choices that range from compact excavators to 100-tonne rigid trucks – thereby increasing the potential for work efficiency and productivity of our customers.”

Established in 1998, Volvo CE Hub Korea has firmly established itself as a market leader in Korea, as well as carefully extending its portfolio of machines offered. Volvo CE Hub Korea, which is headquartered in Seoul, has 13 branches and approximately 250 employees, will now offer customers two rigid dump trucks manufactured by Terex Trucks; the 65-tonne capacity TR70, and the 91-tonne TR100, as well as a thorough aftermarket care service, including Factory-Approved parts out of its Incheon-based warehouse.

Built at the Motherwell factory in Scotland, the TR70, and TR100 provide the perfect balance of power, effective gearing and optimum weight distribution to move more material in less time over the toughest terrains. The hydraulic disc brakes deliver better operator control, while the transmission retarder decreases brake wear, reducing ownership costs and increasing machine availability. Furthermore, the air suspension bears the load through variable-rate nitrogen-over-oil type struts, which ensure a smoother ride, reduce operator fatigue and maximise production.

“We are confident that Volvo CE Hub Korea will be an invaluable addition to our dealer network,” said Clement Cheong, APAC’s sales and marketing director at Terex Trucks.
