1707 Aggregate Industries, part of the 8161 LafargeHolcim Group, has appointed James Roberts as its new organisational and human resources director. In his role, Roberts will also sit on the company’s executive committee.

Roberts brings to Aggregate Industries a wealth of experience in leading organisations and teams through growth, as well as an innovative approach to organisational transformation in a dynamic and ever challenging environment.

With over 20 years of international experience in HR leadership, Roberts was previously organisation & talent development leader at General Electric. Before that, he was for 7 years vice president of Human Resources at Alstom Power Services.

He has a Masters in Organisation Development, Organisation Development & Change Management from Sheffield Hallam University, as well as various specialised certifications from renowned institutions like Insead, Kornferry and the International Coaching Federation.
