Weir Group acquired Trio Engineered Products, a Chinese-American manufacturer of crushing and separation equipment for the mining and aggregates markets, for around US$220 million in October 2014.

2836 Weir Minerals Africa supplies the Weir Group’s Trio product range directly to customers in South Africa.
