According to Mekano, the unit was developed to ease transport issues and can be towed behind a hook lorry at normal speeds on the road. The launch of the screen follows on from the company's launch of the LV 302 screen.
The new SV 902 has an electric drive which Mekano has said reduces the operating costs compared with a hydraulic drive by €12 per hour.
"With separate units that are easy to transport, the customer benefits from a very flexible machine park," said Maskin Mekano CEO Daniel Smedenman. "They can be connected but free to move around and be used separately as needed. Many contractors have a wide geographical area they work in and it is obvious that if you can travel at 90km/h instead of 30km/h it saves you both time and money that makes a big difference on the bottom line."
