Russia’s LSR boosts H1 sales

LSR group sold 204,000m³ of reinforced concrete items in the first half of 2012, 14% up year on year, including 167,000m³ in St Petersburg; 5,000m³ in the Moscow region and 33,000m³ in Yekaterinburg. RSS3777 LSR group sold 204,000m³ of reinforced concrete items in the first half of 2012, 14% up year on year, including 167,000m³ in St Petersburg; 5,000m³ in the Moscow region and 33,000m³ in Yekaterinburg.

During the period, concrete sales totalled 659,000m³, 16% up, including 444,000m³ in St Petersburg and 216,000m³ in the Moscow region.

Brick sales totalled 84 million items, 1% up, including 76 million in St Petersburg and 8 million in the Moscow region. Aerated concrete sales totalled 522,000m³, 24% up, including 213,000m³ in St Petersburg. Cement sales totalled 425,000tonnes.

The group also sold 5.2 million m³ of sand, 7% up, about 3 million m³ of aggregate, 56% up.

The largest consumers are Western Speed Diameter highway construction project in St Petersburg; ExpoForum Exhibition Centre, a railway line near Ust-Luga and the Zenit Stadium.
