CMIE predicts Indian cement output to rise by 6.4%

The Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) predicts that the country's cement output will rise by 6.4% in 2012/2013 fiscal year as the country's construction sector expands and demand for the building material goes up. The country's cement production is expected to rise by 4.8% from December 2012 to March 2013. The price of a 50kg bag cement in India was about INR 305 (€4.26) in December 2012 and cement output in October 2012 rose by 7.3% year-on-year to 19.91 million tonnes.

The Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) predicts that the country's cement output will rise by 6.4% in 2012/2013 fiscal year as the country's construction sector expands and demand for the building material goes up.

The country's cement production is expected to rise by 4.8% from December 2012 to March 2013.
