Holcim Indonesia is preparing to expand its ready-mix concrete products to potential markets across the country. As part of its plan, the cement producer is currently constructing a batching plant in Bandung, with a cost of €195,289 (IDR 3 billion).
The Bandung facility will be able to produce 50m³ of concrete products per hour (4,000m³ per month). At present, the firm owns a 40% stake in Bandung's concrete market.

According to Holcim Indonesia's General Manager for Ready Mix Concrete (RMX) Operation Budi W Kanantyo, the firm plans to expand in Bandung because it wants to cash in on the upbeat infrastructure developments in the city.
