Polish producer of cement, concrete and aggregates, Grupa Gorazdze, expects its turnover will drop by 10-15% in 2013, year on year. Poldim has lost out in the shortlist of companies qualified by the Polish Government for the final round of bidding to acquire an 85% stake in Kieleckie Kopalnie Surowcow Mineralnych. Only four companies - Dolnoslaskie Surowce Skalne, Colas Kruszywa, Gorazdze Kruszywa and Strabag – have been selected for the final stage of the process to buy a stake in the sand and gravel operation.

Gorazdze, the Polish cement producer owned by HeidelbergCement, aims to increase its annual ready-mixed concrete sales by 1 million m³ to 3 million m³/year and its aggregate production from 6 million tonnes to 10 million tonnes/year by 2019.
