Polish cement firm Grupa Gorazdze tips 2013 revenue fall

Polish producer of cement, concrete and aggregates, Grupa Gorazdze, expects its turnover will drop by 10-15% in 2013, year on year. In 2012, the Group's revenue shrank by over €70.33 million (PLN 300mn) to €287.89 million (PLN 1.23bn). Due to implementing restructuring in the past, Grupa Gorazdze does not plan any jobs cuts, but is going to freeze salaries in 2013. Polish producer of cement, concrete and aggregates, Grupa Gorazdze, expects its turnover will drop by 10-15% in 2013, year on year. In 2012, the Group's revenue shrank by over €70.33 million (PLN 300mn) to €287.89 million (PLN 1.23bn). Due to implementing restructuring in the past, Grupa Gorazdze does not plan any jobs cuts, but is going to freeze salaries in 2013.

Currently, Grupa Gorazdze is completing the consolidation of its three branches: 913 Gorazdze Cement, Gorazdze Beton and Gorazdze Kruszywa. It is planning to increase the production of aggregates and is considering takeovers in the aggregate segment. The Group is also considering expanding its facilities where concrete is produced.
