The year 2013 marked an all-time sales record since the company’s inception in 1928, according to Mike Johnson, vice president of sales and marketing of the worldwide manufacturer for the aggregate, recycling and construction industries.
“Our record performance in 2014 is attributable to the execution of our strategic initiatives and our strong business alliance with our distributors,” says Johnson.
“Our commitment to customer service and a mentality of ‘there is no finish line’ creates strong synergies, and we continue to challenge ourselves to improve.”
In addition to celebrating this major milestone, the company also recognised outstanding employees in sales and support.
Four sales awards were presented to the regional sales managers who displayed a positive attitude while achieving a high sales volume, successfully executing the territory sales plan, and significantly developing the marketplace.
Regional sales manager Tony Caldwell was recognised with the company’s top award for overall sales excellence in all KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens products. Regional sales managers Terry Cummings, Bill Royce, and John McGimpsey were also honoured for sales excellence.
Nick Hahn, an applications specialist for cone crushing and horizontal screening, was recognised for top overall customer service for providing the most factory support to the field sales team on products and services across all regions. Other employees honoured for customer service excellence include field service technician Jim Engle; parts manager Ryan Newman; project application specialist Chad Renken, and sales coordinator Anna Garza.
“Our award recipients recognise superior sales achievement and sales support to our dealers and customers. Many of these individuals have been honoured previously. The team approach to continued success is something we stress with all of our associates. We congratulate all who were recognised,” says Johnson.
