Sika has introduced its new Sika Concreto Forte and Sika 3 Plus concrete aggregates during Feicon 2014, a construction industry event held in Brazil. These aggregates make concrete used for residential construction as strong as concrete used for civil engineering works.
The Swiss company has also said it intends to launch two more plants in Russia in the near future, according to CEO Jan Jenish.
Currently, Sika has three plans of dry mortars and concrete admixtures in Russia located in the cities of Rzhev, Lobnya and St Petersburg.
The company may build a new production facility in the Far East. Sergei Zyuzya, the head of the Sika's Moscow office, says that the company has already invested about CHF 30mn (€24.65 million) in Russia and will only increase financing.
