Cemex is supplying approximately 58,000m³ of concrete for the second lock chamber of the Moselle River in Trier, Germany. Between 2014 and 2017, after over 50 years of continuous operation, ten locks were gradually expanded with a second chamber. To ensure uninterrupted casting, Cemex Germany supplied almost 60,000m³of concrete utilising a mobile mixing plant located just 500m from the job site.
