Wet processing equipment manufacturer CDE has established a new strategic partnership with Molson Washing, the specialist materials processing division of Molson Group.

UK-based Sheehan Group is upgrading its CDE Global wet processing plant in Oxfordshire to produce higher quality recycled sand.

Mike Broad, who retired from the aggregates and quarrying business in September 2018, has been reflecting on a remarkable 48 years in the industry which he spent with just one company.

Family-owned business Feiring Bruk, which operates primarily in eastern Norway where it has 10 sites extracting and producing crushed stone, gravel and asphalt, has announced an 88% reduction in fines as a result of its wet processing plant commissioned with CDE.

At its site near the village of Blackwater, in Wexford, south-east Ireland, D’Arcy Sands was facing a combination of site-specific challenges, namely water supply and reliance on a traditional bucket wheel classifying system. It recently partnered with industry-leading wet processing equipment manufacturer CDE to commission a new wet processing plant which was showcased at an Open Day event in June.

Duo Group, NRS Woodcote Aggregates and Terex Washing Systems are holding the first of a series of open days showcasing quarrying equipment on-site.
