668 Terex Finlay, a leading global crushing and screening solution brand, was today showcasing seven new machines at its International Customer Open Days event in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The event taking place today and tomorrow (Friday 16 June) at a quarry owned by Alex Brewster & Sons Ltd, will offer visitors the opportunity to view Terex Finlay machines working in both quarry and recycling demonstration zones, and also provide the chance to meet with factory engineers and sales personnel to discuss crushing, screening and conveying applications.

Selected jaw crushers, cone crushers, impact crushers and heavy-duty grid and screen units will be on display, with some additional machines ‘put into action’ through a series of quarry-based demonstrations.  New machine designs will also be showcased during the event, including the opportunity to see a new direct drive version of Terex Finlay’s J-1170 jaw crusher alongside the new hydrostatic drive J-1160 jaw crusher and the new 684 three-deck inclined screen. The new I-120RS Impact Crusher will also be showcased over the two days.

To effectively demonstrate Terex Finlay’s machines to customers, the company has chosen to bring the capabilities of a 2983 Bell L2606 loader, a Bell B30E ADT and a Bell B40E ADT into the quarry, as production partners that can effectively load up and clear from, the Terex Finlay equipment being exhibited.

“We’re delighted to learn that Terex Finlay is choosing to demonstrate its range of crushing and screen machines to customers, supported by Bell,” says Richard Higgott, sales and marketing manager at Bell Equipment UK.

“It’s a real testament to the reliability of the Bell equipment being brought into play, as Terex Finlay would only choose to use loading and hauling equipment capable of fully enabling its own models.

“We wish the Terex Finlay team every success in demonstrating the proficiencies and potential of its superb equipment over the course of the open days, and hope that in turn, our Bell models serve to impress.”
