In the quarry applications demonstration area will be a new direct drive version of Terex Finlay’s J-1170 jaw crusher alongside the new hydrostatic drive J-1160 jaw crusher and the new 684 three-deck inclined screen. Other demonstration area models are the new direct drive C-1540 cone crusher, a 674 screen and a 694+ triple-deck inclined screen. The new TC-80 conveyor will also be in use.
Live recycling applications will involve Terex Finlay’s new I-120RS impact crusher featured alongside an 883+ Spaleck heavy duty screen and an I-140 impact crusher.
A number of other units will be on display in Edinburgh: the J-960 jaw crusher, a standard J-1170 jaw crusher, a J-1175 jaw crusher, a C-1545 cone crusher, a C-1550 cone crusher, a 595 heavy duty grid, a 693+ inclined screen, an 863 heavy duty screen, a 883+ heavy duty screen, a new TC-100 conveyor and a new high level stacker.
An aggressive tracked primary jaw crusher, the J-1170 has a direct drive jaw chamber fitted with an unblock feature that maximises uptime. The model has an optional hydraulic release for demolition and recycling applications. Its compact dimensions and quick set-up time are said to make it the optimum solution for contract crushing as well as demanding in-pit applications. The J-1170’s hydraulically-assisted closed side setting adjustment minimises downtime and offers quick adjustment.
The J-1160’s robust high performance, hydrostatic driven, single toggle jaw chamber provides high capacity with large reduction ratios. Automatic variable speed VGF ensures continuous choke feeding of the crushing chamber for optimal productivity.
The model’s high powered hydrostatic drive ensures precise chamber controls and reverse functionality for clearing blockages and assisting in demolition and recycling applications. Like the J-1170, the J-1160’s fully hydraulic adjustable closed side setting minimises downtime and offers quick adjustment.
Easily transportable and compact, the efficient and high capacity Terex Finlay 684 screen offers operators rapid set up and take down times. Its new screenbox features three large 4.3m x 1.7m inclined screens creating a large 236ft² screening area.
