Commenting on his appointment, Maksimovic said: "I am delighted to join Aggregate Industries, one of the leaders in the construction industry. The UK is one of the most important markets for LafargeHolcim, and I am very excited to be offered the opportunity of leading the organisation on its successful path. Maksimovic succeeds Guy Edwards, who has decided to pursue other career opportunities outside the organisation after making a significant contribution over the last decade with LafargeHolcim, through various P&L roles in the UK & US.
