Fauji Cement appoints new CEO/MD

Major Pakistan building materials player Fauji Cement has appointed a new CEO and managing director.

Qamar Haris Manzoor will take up his senior new dual role on 10 June 2020, succeeding Muhammad Ahsan Mahmood.

Headquartered in Rawalpindi and funded by the Fauji Foundation, Fauji Cement operates two lines of cement plants, one each from FLS Denmark and TKIS (Thyssen Krupp Industrial Solutions) Germany. Annual combined production capacity from these plants is 3.43 million tonnes.

In other company news, Fauji Cement has formally signed resource sharing agreement (RSA) with Askari Cement Ltd, with approval from the Competition Commission of Pakistan.
