The company, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2018, made the investment in North America where it showcased its most recent innovations at the recent 2018 AGG1 Academy & Expo in Houston, Texas, USA. It introduced its new Combo XL, designed for production of manufactured sands, as well as its fines and ultra-fines recovery systems. It features the amalgamation of CDE’s two staple modular treatment units, the EvoWash materials processing plant and the AquaCycle thickener.
With a capacity of up to 250tons (226.7tonnes)/hour and up to 90% of process water recycled and immediately ready for re-use, the Combo XL “ticks all the right boxes for North American operators looking for high volumes of high quality materials that are ready for market in record times.”
The system offers the options to produce up to three materials of even consistency and in-spec every time, and the Combo XL and fines and ultra-fines recovery systems are offered as bespoke packages.
“We have seen our footprint expand rapidly across North America, especially in the past four years, with landmark projects completed across the region. 2017 was a breakthrough year with the launch of our M5500 wet processing plant and our new FracLine range to the US market, which was a resounding success,” says Kevin Kelly, CDE’s president for North America.
With a team based in North Carolina and Texas, CDE has its headquarters in Northern Ireland and counts offices across the world.
“We have recently expanded our footprint to include our regional centre of excellence and new headquarters for North America, based just outside Fort Worth, Texas,” says Kelly.
“We are also continuing to invest in our people and plan to double the size of our regional team for North America in 2018. This investment includes regional engineering, project management, business development and service teams to provide our customers with a total care package for their investment from technical pre-sales through to after-sales CustomCare.”
