3652 Terex Washing Systems (TWS) has held the first of its product development forums at its Dungannon, Northern Ireland facility and a second at the Terex facility in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

TWS has established a strong global distributor network and 39 distributor companies attended the forums including representatives from distributors in Poland, New Zealand, Finland, UK, Ireland, Australia, Romania, France, Turkey, Latvia, Slovenia, Holland, Russia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Algeria, Belgium, Morocco, and throughout the Americas.

TWS, a newly-launched product line within the Terex Material Processing segment, supports mines, quarries and aggregate producers globally offering what it says is a broad portfolio, including sand wash and fines recovery plants, log washers, hoppers, feeders, conveyors, de-watering screens, static screens, mobile, static and modular wash plants, as well as the addition of combination plants and water management systems.

The primary aim of the forums was to engage with distributors and familiarise them with the TWS core team.

Distributors were updated on new products under development and provided with an overview of all current TWS products and this was achieved through a factory tour; machine showcase of the Terex M1700 and FM 200 C; demonstrations of the new range of filter presses and various presentations.

TWS says the events also provided “an excellent platform for TWS to capture feedback from distributors in terms of customer needs for new product development and ultimately understand distributor needs for customer and support solutions.”
Speaking after the event in Louisville, Bill Humphrey from distributor Emerald Equipment Systems said: “It was great to see the high quality of people on the TWS team.  They are all very knowledgeable and engaging.”

Damien Quinn, 447 Powerscreen Ireland, said: “It was excellent to see the vision and direction TWS has for the future of the washing product line, which is made up of a dynamic team. This is an exciting time for TWS and upon delivering on their objectives they will undoubtedly become a leader in washing.”

Director of TWS, Sean Loughran, said: “The forum provided an excellent opportunity to introduce the new TWS team including design engineers, marketing, sales, aftersales and applications engineers to the distributors and provide a clear focus on the critical path going forward.”
