7373 SBM Mineral Processing’s EUROMIX concrete mixing plant is marking its 20th birthday this year.

The Austrian manufacturer says there are more than enough reasons to celebrate the anniversary of the super mobile plant.

Gerhard Gschwandtner, head of SBM’s Concrete Technology and a pioneer of the plant is proud to look back on two decades.

“Thanks to the challenging demands of our clients, the feedback of the plant operators, and the know-how of our qualified employees, SBM managed to develop EUROMIX to be the global market leader in its class,” he says.

“Its modular design, powerful performance and long life have been convincing all renowned concrete producers in Europe”.

EUROMIX plants have been involved in the complete refurbishment of the motorway A1 between Prague and Brno, Czech Republic; the construction of the airport in Norilsk in Siberia under toughest climatic conditions; a research centre high up in the mountains, or the Semmering Base Tunnel, Austria, today’s most complex tunnel building project in Europe.

Currently, six EUROMIX plants are at the Semmering construction site.

Austrian company 4700 Asamer has been a client from day one, and at peak periods it runs many EUROMIX plants in Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, North Africa and Russia at peak periods.

“The first EUROMIX is still operating at full speed near Moscow “, says Gschwandtner.

Reliable production of concrete at temperatures of -25to 40°C; 24/7 operation; the plug-and-play principle (installation of the plant within 480 minutes) are said be among features of the EUROMIX in the global super mobile concrete mixing plant market.
