Around 700 guests, including clients, distributors and affiliated company representatives from all over the world, came to see the first SBM Expert Days in Liezen, Austria. An impressive 51 exhibits demonstrated the wide scale of the minerals processing equipment company’s product portfolio. A 16,000m² exhibition area also offered compact information on concrete mixing and mineral processing technology, live demos, and several pioneering technological novelties.
Almost all
SBM’s two mobile concrete mixing plants, VARIOMIX and MINIMIX, with their towers rising about 22m high were already visible from afar, but they were not the only optical highlight during SBM Expert Days 2017. Attendees could inspect the plants both inside and outside, thus assuring themselves of the compact build and the practical operation of the individual systems. The two plants have similar qualities, with their modular designs and small setting up areas making them ideal in very confined building sites. Meanwhile, 1600 and 3300 EUROMIX plants were also on show.
After the SBM Expert Days 2017 product demonstrations and presentations, it was time for an evening of entertainment. Daredevil freestyle motocross riders captivated the exhibition arena audience, flying through the air to the sound of AC/DC. Pyrotechnics and the dramatic drumming also helped make the event an unforgettable experience.
Of the debut SBM Expert Days event on 14-15 September, SBM managing director Erwin Schneller said: “Our product portfolio and the new plants exhibited made SBM EXPERT DAYS a unique big-impact show. We plan to host this event every three years from now on.”
