The American Concrete Institute (ACI) will host a new webinar to assist civil engineers by reviewing various codes of ethics and their applications on the 6 March 2018. It will also discuss reporting requirements and potential penalties for ethical violations, address their professional responsibilities as well as apply standards of responsibility to determine an appropriate course of action.
Called Engineering Ethics, the session will be presented by Dr. Norbert J. Delatte, Jr., P.E., FACI, the M.R. Lohmann Endowed Professor of Engineering and the Head of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Oklahoma State University. He is also author of Beyond Failure: Forensic Case Studies for Civil Engineers and Concrete Pavement Design, Construction, and Performance, 2nd Edition.
