ACI to host seminars for ACI 318-19 building code requirements

August 14, 2019

The American Concrete Institute (ACI) is offering a series of seminars to focus on the ACI 318-19, Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete and Commentary.

ACI 318-19: Changes to the Concrete Design Standard seminars will feature face-to-face interaction with speakers, and attendees will receive a free copy of the ACI 318-19 code and presentation handouts.

ACI says the ACI 318-19 Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete contains some of the most significant technical changes since the 1971 code. It is expected to be referenced in the 2021 International Building Code (IBC). Now containing full color three-dimensional illustrations to improve clarity, ACI 318-19 features clear language and style consistency.

The seminars, which will be held in cities around the US, will cover all the major changes in this new edition of the ACI Code. Additional future locations in the U.S. and worldwide are being planned.
