December 18, 2018

Cemex is expected to deliver an estimated 55,000 cubic yards of ready-mix concrete to supply phase one of The Plaza Coral Gables, a city near Miami.

The company will supply high-quality materials from its Florida network which consists of two active cement plants, five distribution terminals, more than 20 aggregates facilities and nearly 80 ready-mix plants.

The entire project is expected to cost $400 million and will include offices, residential apartments, a hotel, retail and parking. Amenities will feature fitness centres, rooftop pools for residents and hotel guests, and ballroom and meeting space.

Kirk Light, Cemex, regional president—Florida Region, says: “Known as the ‘City Beautiful,’ Coral Gables maintains a traditional aesthetic that must be upheld with integrity in the building blocks of this mixed-use, landmark property.”
