Cemex USA has supplied 4,000 cubic yards of concrete to renovate roads along the south rim of the grand canyon as part of the Desert View Drive project. The company says the initiative improved the aesthetics and safety of the Grand Canyon National Park's roadways.
Over the course of three months, Cemex worked with the US Forest Service and the Grand Canyon National Park Service. The project involved repaving the most frequently used roads, intersections, bus pads, sidewalks and wheelchair ramps.
