Lehigh Hanson's senior director of marketing Lori Tiefenthaler director has won the 2018 John P. Gleason Leadership Award for Market Development. The award, which recognises individuals whose leadership has a positive impact on the industry, was presented at the PCA Summer Committee Meetings in Chicago.
Tiefenthaler was chair of the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) in 2017, where she led an effort to launch PavementDesigner.org. The website is a joint project between PCA, ACPA and National Ready Mixed Concrete Association.
Additionally, she served on the executive board for the National Concrete Consortium and helped improve connections and outcomes for the cement and concrete industries with federal and state departments of transportation and academia.
