National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association members can from today apply for the Environmental Excellence, Environmental Leadership and the Environmental Certificate of Achievement awards.
Application is online on the NSSGA Awards webpage. The deadline to apply for all of the Environmental Awards of Excellence is May 31.
NSSGA implemented changes to the presentation of the annual awards to better support the association’s mission and new event schedule.
The recipients of these awards will be recognized in the fall at the association’s newest event, the Legislative and Policy Forum/Fall Board Meeting in Washington, DC September 24 to September 28. Here members of Congress and regulators will be invited to take part in the presentation of the awards to outstanding operations.
The awards of Excellence in Safety and Health and the Grassroots Awards will also be presented at this event.
The 2017 awards will be given based on work completed from January through December 2016.
