This $2,500 scholarship was created to honor the memory of the late Barry K Wendt, an associatyon member who tirelessly devoted his energy to advancing the causes of the aggregates industry.
Eligible students will be enrolled in a mining-related degree program and will have completed at least one year of college coursework.
The Jennifer Curtis Byler Scholarship memorializes the life and accomplishments of the daughter of Jack Curtis, LC Curtis and Son, a Georgia sand and gravel producer.
The $5,000 scholarship is reserved for a child of an aggregates industry employee who wishes to pursue collegiate studies in public policy, government affairs or related fields.
