US Concrete has acquired assets of Golden Spread Redi-Mix to expand its ready-mixed concrete footprint in West Texas and strengthen vertical integration with the addtion of sand and gravel operation.
The acquisition includes ten fixed ready-mixed concrete plants and a portable ready-mixed concrete division, consisting of five plants. It also features an aggregates producing facility with extensive reserve life near to the Amarillo market. Additionally, Golden Spread operates an aggregates and cementitious products trucking fleet that supports the company’s ready-mixed concrete and aggregates operations.
