Ralf Majchrzak, business development manager for Chicago Pneumatic in Scandinavia and the Baltics, said: "With these strategic appointments, Chicago Pneumatic has further strenghtened its burgeoning presence in Estonia and Eastern Europe as a whole. Both Alas Kuul and Melker Baltik have a real depth of experience and knowledge of working with construction companies in Estonia, which we fully expect will boost awareness and sales of Chicago Pneumatic’s durable and reliable construction equipment solutions in the country."
Estblished in 1993, Alas Kuul is a leading distributor of industrial air compressors in Estonia. The company, which operates seven sales offices throughout the country, has access to Chicago Pneumatic’s full European range of portable air compressors and hand-held pneumatic equipment, including paving breakers, hammers, rivet busters, scrabblers and rock drills. In addition to sales, Alas Kuul operates a large maintenance and service team, and is able to provide dedicated after-sales support to its customers.
Margus Veeorg, compressed air sales manager at Alas Kuul said: "With demand for portable air on the rise, we jumped at the chance to partner with Chicago Pneumatic due to its established reputation in mainland Europe as a supplier of high quality, robust and efficient portable compressors and air tools.”
Melker Baltik was founded in 2011 by a highly experienced team of construction professionals and the company is now a leading supplier of machinery and equipment to Estonia’s road construction and maintenance industries. Headquartered in Tallinn, the company also operates a fully equipped workshop and two mobile service vans to support customers with their maintenance needs.
Aleksander Nõomaa, managing director of Melker Baltik, said: "The excellent availability and quality of Chicago Pneumatic’s products, and additional after-sales support and parts services, mean we are now able to offer a bigger and better choice of construction equipment to our customers. As a relatively new name in Estonia, we see great opportunities to help the Chicago Pneumatic brand grow in the country."
