The 395 Caterpillar 336E H hybrid excavator uses recovered energy from the boom swing to create greater fuel efficiency. The innovative model’s many benefits are said to include lower fuel costs, reduced exhaust emissions and a smaller carbon footprint—all without any compromise in production, reliability, durability or operability in all applications.
The 336E H model’s Cat C9.3 ACERT engine is made to operate efficiently on ultra-low-sulphur diesel fuel or a B20 biofuel blend. Generous hydraulic flow in the implement circuits and a high main relief pressure are also said to generate high hydraulic horsepower. This means the 336E H can handle buckets as large as 2.55m³, as well as a variety of work tools from shears and multiprocessors to hydraulic breakers and rippers.
A heavy-duty extended-length undercarriage and its 4.9tonne counterweight on the 336E H hybrid excavator are said to combine to form an exceptionally strong work platform for digging, lifting and attachment use. The model’s heavy-duty reach boom can be paired with either a 3.2m stick or a 3.9m stick.
