XCMG has established a marketing network with over 280 overseas agents providing global users with all-round marketing service. The company’s products have been exported to 173 countries and regions. The firm claims to be the world’s biggest seller of automobile cranes and large-tonnage rollers.
Established in 1833 in France, Lafarge has a history of 170 years. It has gained a leading position in the field of cement, aggregates, concrete, etc. Since 1999, Lafarge has been on the list of Fortune 500.
An XCMG spokesman said: “The framework agreement is an all-encompassing one, i.e. XCMG will provides Lafarge with whatever kind of machinery it needs at a favourable price. The cooperation between the two parties at present is at the preliminary level, but with the signing of the agreement, it is expected to grow at satisfactory speed. It is hoped that the cooperation will first grow within Chinese market and then spread to other places of the world.”
