It joins the current range of Terex Finlay mobile cone crushers: C-1540, C-1550 and C-1550P.
“We have been extremely impressed with the results that were experienced throughout the 36-month testing period in some of the most challenging raw materials in Ireland, UK and Continental Europe and the intake of initial machine orders from our dealer partners,” says Terex Finlay.
“The machine was introduced to our customers and dealers at two recent launch events in San Francisco (mid-June 2015) and Charlotte, North Carolina (mid-July), USA, with further events planned for the remainder of the year in Europe and the Southern Hemisphere.”
The C-1545 is said to offer operators a high capacity and aggressive cone crusher for the surface ore mining and aggregate industries, and incorporates the new Terex TC1150 cone crusher with direct variable speed clutch drive; automatic tramp relief, and on-the-fly hydraulic adjustable closed side setting (CSS) adjustment.
The large hopper/feeder’s automated metal detection and purge system protects the cone and reduce downtime by removing metal contaminants via the purge chute.
