Indonesia’s Semen Padang plant to start operations in 2016

The managing director of Semen Padang, Benny Wendry said that the physical construction of the Indarung VI cement plant is now 58.4% completed. The IDR 3.80 trillion (€241.10 million/US$274.25 million) plant is scheduled to start operations in 2016. Following the operations of the plant, the company’s cement output will increase by 3 million tonnes to 10.4 million tonnes. The companies involved in the construction of the plant include Bukaka Teknik Utama; Barata Indonesia; Wijaya Karya Konstruksi;

The managing director of Semen Padang, Benny Wendry said that the physical construction of the Indarung VI cement plant is now 58.4% completed.

The IDR 3.80 trillion (€241.10 million/US$274.25 million) plant is scheduled to start operations in 2016.

Following the operations of the plant, the company’s cement output will increase by 3 million tonnes to 10.4 million tonnes.

The companies involved in the construction of the plant include Bukaka Teknik Utama; Barata Indonesia; 7481 Wijaya Karya Konstruksi; Pembangunan Perumahan; Nindya Karya; Adhi Karya, and Waskita Karya.
