Mozambique's cement company Cimentos de Mocambique is set to produce 700,000tonnes in 2015 and should invest some US$250 million (€220.49 million) in a new unit in Nacala, province of Nampula and which will have an output capacity of 1.5 million tonnes/year.
The company has recently invested US$10 million in a new filtering system at the group's plant based in Matola, near the capital city of Maputo.

The company is majority owned by 1347 Cimpor of Portugal and its South African subsidiary, Natal Portland.
