Lithuanian construction materials firm Eternit Baltic begins fibre cement factory build

Eternit Baltic, a Lithuanian construction materials producer, has begun the construction of its new fibre cement factory in the northern Lithuanian town of Naujoji Akmene. The factory, which will employ at least 50 people in three years, will produce fibre cement weatherboards. Eternit Baltic was formerly a subsidiary of Belgium's Etex Group.
