LafargeHolcim has reported that its sales of cement in Romania increased by 15.3% from January-September 2015, compared to the same nine months of 2014. This is said to be primarily due to increased building activity in the Bucharest region.

Holcim Romania ended the year 2014 with a net profit of RON 92.60mn (€20.75 million) compared to only RON 1.1 million (€246,602) posted in 2013, while its turnover increased by 9% year-on-year.
