According to data provided by the Czech Cement Manufacturers Association, in the first nine months of 2012 some 2.6 million tonnes of cement were produced in the country, down by 10% year-on-year.
At the same time, the volume of exported cement fell by 20%. The decline is mainly a result of unfavourable economic situation and slump of the construction sector.
